SECTO AUTOMOTIVE RALLY FINLAND

Rally Finland is one of the largest annual events in the Nordics, with almost three hundred thousand spectator visits in various areas during the event.

The following services were provided for the Secto Automotive Rally Finland 2021:

  • RFID passes
  • All devices for service side payments and access control at each sector
  • Setup and support

RFID passes and QR-codes were widely used in the spectator ticketing solutions in order to authenticate all spectator tickets. RFID passes were also used to manage access to the VIP areas, where they also allowed AKK Sport’s corporate clients to buy drinks for their guests on account.

The Secto Automotive Rally Finland app was launched in 2021, which was built using our app development platform. In addition to helping spectators plan their trip, with up-to-date information about the stages and spectator areas, it was used to send important updates during the event.

“We are committed to supporting a sustainable future for our events and working with CoreGo on the digital ticketing solutions is an important part of this process. A digital rally pass will be introduced in 2022, largely replacing the plastic passes and lanyards, and special stage tickets will be made available online, which will decrease our carbon footprint even more.” Markus Häkkinen

We have also worked with AKK Sports on the following events:

  • Arctic Rally Finland 2021
  • Finnish National Rally Championship series
  • Finnish National Rallycross Championship series

Qstock 2021

Several factors came together to make this the right time for us to go “cashless”. I also saw CoreGo’s new CM5 terminal as the right tool to allow us to make this change. We were more than happy with how things turned out.

Qstock is one of the biggest music festivals in Finland. First organised in 2003, this annual 2-day music festival welcomes 40,000 visitors to Oulu each July.

This was the first year that CoreGo provided the payment solution for Qstock. Using our mobile CM5 payment solution, Qstock was also able to go “cashless’ for the first time. The solution was also built on our independent wireless network, ensuring a secure and fast service.

We are already looking forward to Qstock 2022, which will take place from 29.-30.7. More information about this festival can be found from the Qstock festival website.
